Meet our team! From our dedicated founder to our talented chefs, our executive team forms the cornerstone of Adam’s. Each member brings their own unique skills-set into the mix, forming an incredible group that is dedicated to seeing this gourmet seafood shop continue to thrive.
Maltese entrepreneur and chef Adam Demanuele has years of experience within the culinary industry. Having worked in Malta, Florence, London and for the Formula 1 driver Alessandro Zanardi, Adam has cultivated his cooking skills and immersed himself in the world of food.
In Malta, his talents earned him the position of chef patron at La Dolce Vita, but in 2013, Adam ventured out on his own and became the proud owner of Adam’s Fish Shop. This gourmet fish shop soon became an award winner and was followed by the 2017 launch of his exquisite seafood restaurant — The Seafood Market Grill by Adam — in Gzira.
With hard work and dedication, Adam has built a successful business that continues to thrive, as does his intense passion for food.
Maltese born Justin Schieda, brings a vast amount of catering experience to the Adam’s team. Having worked in the catering industry both in Malta and London, Justin continued to learn and nurture his skills whilst working with the best chefs in Europe.
In time, his dedication and unbridled passion for cooking landed him the position of Head Chef at Hammett’s Gastro Bar, where he successfully catered for large events and well-known personalities. Now, at the age of 30, Justin is already an Executive Chef at Adam’s and enjoys a very promising career working for Malta’s number one gourmet seafood shop.
Born in India, chef Rizwan Khan was raised in a family that loved cooking flavourful dishes. On coming to Malta, he quickly discovered his passion for fish mongering, where his incredible knife skills gave him a desirable edge.
Endowed with a responsible work ethic and a friendly demeanour, Rizwan has been an asset to Adam’s and looks forward to a fruitful career in the culinary industry.
Colombian born Edwin Johan, is a talented chef with a flair for grilling flavourful fish. After gaining culinary experience in Columbia, Edwin brought his raw talent and experience to Malta.
Now a chef at Adam’s, he astonished customers with his mouth-watering seafood dishes, all cooked to stunning perfection. Talented and hard-working, Edwin’s culinary future looks very bright.
A Filipino chef with a passion for rap music, Delfin Daisog is a multitalented addition to the Adam’s team. Despite being the youngest member of this incredible crew, Delfin already shows great promise in the culinary industry. He is endowed with great customer care skills and, behind the counter, displays optimal knife skills that shine in their efficiency and precision.
Harbouring a love for high-quality food and cooking, Delfin is eager to continue his culinary journey with Adam as his inspiration.
